A nice piece of software is ELOG - an Electronic Logbook. Go to the web site for Unix and Windows versions and here for a version compiled to work on the Zaurus. Download, untar, start the elog server using elogd, then fire up your browser and point it to http://localhost:8080 and the elog home page will pop up with the default demo log.
